A special model MK30R-RM for measuring pulp and paper in a running or static production machine. The sensing head is at the end of a long stick. It is intended for manual use.

Tips for Users:

    • to keep the meter's battery fully charged, please keep it connected to the charger, power turned off, when not using it. In this way you will ensure that the meter is always ready when you will need it. Even if the battery would be fully charged, it is trickle-charged to keep it full; no harm is done.

    • avoid running the meter's battery completely empty. Recharging it would require more time than expected since the Lithium Ion battery needs a refreshing initial charging before actual charge is put into it. Also, do not take as real the charge indicators if the battery has been run empty. Let it charge overnight to be sure.

The earlier model MK30 Compact is now discontinued since the new MK30R will be superior to it in all possible ways.

This relieves the pulp machine personnel from running with a grabber and samples while checking the current moisture level of the running web. Just go to the web with the meter and take the reading. No more waiting for hours to get the reading from the laboratory, it is instant.
